Minister of State in the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing, Suleiman Hassan Zarma, says the All Progressive Congress (APC) will defeat the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Gombe State in 2019.
Hassan, sworn-in three weeks ago, said the APC is putting its house in order and will contest the next general election united.
He told newsmen in Gombe that PDP was in power because there was a “little disconnect” within the APC.
The party has been under an interim leadership by members from neighbouring states for the past six months.
The committee was constituted by the national headquarters in Abuja.
But Zarma assured that “Things are taking shape now”.
“We are getting our acts together and by 2019, APC will be the party to beat in Gombe State.
“APC in Gombe State will be stronger. We have a very strong followership base in the state; we only had a little disconnect but things are getting better”.
