Eden Hazard has refused to quash rumours linking him with a possible transfer to Real Madrid in the future by admitting that he is a fan of the Spanish league.

The Chelsea playmaker has earned a reputation as one of the Premier League’s top attacking talents since arriving at Stamford Bridge from Lille back in 2012.

Hazard has been regularly linked with a possible transfer to Real Madrid in the past and it remains to be seen whether the Spanish giants will step up their interest in the 26-year-old.

Now, the Belgium international has admitted that he is a big fan of the Spanish league in comments that are unlikely to go down well with Chelsea fans.

Hazard told Spanish newspaper Marca: “At the moment I’m good in England.

“I play for one of the best teams, but yes, the Spanish League is special…

“Why not one day? Of course, for the moment I’m here.”

The midfielder will be hoping to make his first Premier League appearance of the season for Chelsea when the Blues take on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The former Lille man has been out of action for the first part of the campaign due to an ankle injury.
