United Kingdom’s top news tabloids, DailyMail, has released its list of ‘the rich kids of Nigeria’. According to them, these kids are giving their counterparts in the UK, the US and Russia, a stiff competition.

The rich kids of Instagram never disappoint when it comes to flaunting their extreme wealth on social media.  But it’s generally young people who hail from the UK, the US and Russia that are known for showing off their private jets, designer clothes and luxury holidays.
Now, however, they’ve got some stiff competition from the wealthiest young people in Nigeria – Africa’s biggest economy – whose exploits are documented by the Richkidsnaija Instagram account.  Louboutins are hugely popular among Nigeria’s wealthiest young men with both Hushpuppi and Mompha showing off their huge collections.
1. E-MONEY
Emeka Okonkwo, known as E-money, is the country’s youngest billionaire and the younger brother of ‘Limpopo’ singer Kcee. He is and the boss of Five Star Music and interests such as property, oil and gas.

He owns multiple properties in Lagos and have kitted them out in lavish style with elaborate gold furnishings.  His party trick is to spray cash on the guests from a money gun at weddings.
A video from earlier this year, shows him spraying one million Naira – the equivalent of £2,500 – on guests at the marriage of actor Mike Ezuruonye’s sister.

2. BNAIRA
Rapper and designer Bayo Adewale a.k.a Bnaira is also fond of throwing cash around at parties.
Bnaira is an alumni of the University of Lagos who studied Geography Education. He rose into popularity as a year one student driving around campus with his very first car, a St. James red coloured Honda accord which soon quickly became his signature colour.
It was distinct, hard to miss and a beauty to behold amongst his pairs especially the ladies.

Bayo Adewale a.k.a Bnaira is the C.E.O / Founder of BNS APPAREL and BNS RECORD, both of which he started while he was still in school.

He is a club aficionado and a lover of all beautiful things, living or non-living. Rumors have it that his excessive spending does not have a proper origin, but this has not in any way deterred the young man or even his flocks of female admirers.

He became known for his love of red cars while studying geography at the University of Lagos and worked his way up from a Honda Accord to Ranger Rovers and supercars with personalised plates in his signature colour.
3. MOMPHA

Ismaila better known as Mompha is the owner of Mompha Bureau De Change, Lagos Island Nigeria. Mompha boasted that he has ‘lots of them like coupons’ and is ‘drowning’ in a red sea of their distinctive soles.
He was once quoted as saying, “Well, I never wanted a million dollar face with a dollar in my pocket, That’s fame. I always want millions of dollars in my bank and I careless if nobody knows who I am”

He also showed off his bags from a shopping spree at Gucci, Cavalli, Valentino, Versace, Hermes and Louis Vuitton, making his followers aware that he’d paid for the luxury haul in cash.
4. HUSHPUPPI

Malaysian- based Nigeria who goes by the name Ray Hushpuppi continues to wow his thousands of Instagram followers with exotic and flambouyant lifestyle.
A proud Floyd Mayweather fan, HushpuppiI proudly announced that he had been invited to an exclusive preview event at Versace.




‘None of you nuisance, noise makers was invited. To God be the glory, it was a successful event and I had a wonderful experience, met worthy people of great class. Of course I made a purchase of one jacket with a huge price tag.
