After Neymar completed his £197m move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain, the transfer market switched its attention to Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho.

The Brazilian midfielder is the Blaugrana’s favoured replacement for his countryman and it seems a move could be close to happening.

Ernesto Valverde’s side have already seen a £72m bid rejected for the 25-year-old and are reportedly ready to pay over £100m for him.

Coutinho may not even be Neymar’s replacement, instead, he may be seen as the natural heir to Andres Iniesta, meaning Barca could sign the likes of Ousmane Dembele as well.

Jurgen Klopp has stood firm, saying that the Reds will not part ways with Coutinho for any price, however, some latest revelations may make the German boss think twice about his talisman.
